Provo, UT, January 12, 2011

T-Splines, Inc., creators of creators of precise and flexible 3D surface modeling and organic design tools with full industry standard compatibility, is proud to announce that Matt Sederberg, T-Splines CEO, and Dr. Tom Sederberg, Professor of Computer Science at BYU and co-founder of T-Splines, Inc. will be presenting at the 2011 Isogeometric Analysis Conference at the Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin on January 13-15, 2011.

The T-Splines technology invented by Dr. Tom Sederberg in 2003 and commercialized for surface modeling applications in 2006 has been shown to have unique benefits in providing the geometry basis for isogeometric analysis. Eight sessions during the three-day conference will address the capabilities and applications of T-Splines in isogeometric analysis. Matt Sederberg will also conduct a four-hour hands-on training workshop which will provide basic instruction on how to create analysis-suitable models with T-Splines. Bob Taylor, world-renowned expert and pioneer of the finite element method, will show how to perform various types of analysis on T-spline models in FEAP.
